SunLED Announces Licensing Agreement with NIMS

SunLED is excited to announce to have entered into a licensing agreement with NIMS (National Institute for Materials Science), granting rights to S/CASN phosphor technology. This license for advanced phosphor technology will allow SunLED to expand their portfolio of LED product offerings to include unique optoelectronic solutions such as violet/purple LEDs.

This partnership with NIMS will provide a great leap in LED technology, allowing SunLED to manufacture violet/purple LEDs in addition to other special colors. SunLED is committed to supporting the advancements in technology we see in modern day life, especially in the AI powered arena surrounding Healthcare, ClimateTech, and Automation, and this licensing agreement is a giant step towards that direction.
